Greetings!

As you read this I am likely at the Wellfleet Farmers Market enjoying a delicious scone with my coffee and visiting with friends who stop by to get their weekly dose of deliciousness! I have been camped out at our table every Wednesday morning selling our fabulous Taste of Wellfleet Cookbooks, tickets to shows and catching up with all of you. I hope I get to see you today!

Summer is as busy as ever...truly. As I write this we have a bunch of fabulous kids downstairs learning about filmmaking (day two of a four day workshop). The day started with a full yoga class and will wind up later tonight with a sold out Mosquito Story Slam.

Tomorrow night we will welcome Alexandra Marshall to the Hall for a reading and some conversation about her recent book, The Silence of Your Name. iThis was one of those books that stayed with me long after I finished it. I can't wait to hear her talk about her story and process. Poet and memoirist John Skoyles will be with us as well for the conversation.

We have great jazz here on Thursday with Joe Mongelli and the Cape Jazz Crew. Joe puts together the most talented jazz cats every summer for a series of concerts...this year a tribute to the jazz giants, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and more.

And after several years of begging, followed by great plans averted by a pandemic, the incredibly talented Tracy Harmon Hay will be showing her work at the Hall beginning today! We will be celebrating Tracy with an opening reception on Friday, August 5 from 5-7. The show is beautiful and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wellfleet Affordable Housing Trust.

This is just a little window into the next few days. Scroll through to see what else is coming up and visit the Hall's monthly calendar on our website. You can also stay up to date with us on facebook and instagram.

I hope to see you soon!

Janet
