Celebrate Independence Day with us at WaunaBoom in the Village of Waunakee! Enjoy live music, food carts, free family activities, an F35 flyover by the 115th Fighter Wing, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Please note that for the safety of everyone, we do not allow fireworks, sparklers, pets, or alcoholic beverages. In case of rain, the event will be moved to July 5th from 4:30 - 9:00 pm.

2:00 - 5:30pm: Pink Houses

Pink Houses is a nine-piece, Wisconsin-based band that is a non-stop party of your favorite Rock, Pop, Country, and R&B hits. Their live show is a high-energy, nonstop journey through some of your favorite tunes from the 1980s to the present. Visit their website.

6:30 - 9:30pm: BOOGIE AND THE YO-YOZ

Welcome to the hottest party band in Wisconsin and maybe Iowa! This band is a Waunakee favorite. They are always moving, singing, and entertaining. Get some food, a cold beverage, and dance the evening away. Learn more about the band.

7:00 - 9:00pm: MOVIE IN THE PARK

Watch a free family movie in the park on Bishops Bay Country Club's jumbotron! The WaunaBoom theater presents the DC League of Super-Pets.

9:40pm: Fireworks

Stay for the impressive display by our valued partner, Chrome Fireworks and Displays. The show starts when the western horizon is completely dark. During the show, music will be playing. After the finale, lights will turn on around the park to ensure a safe departure for our guests.

2:00 - 8:00pm: Petting Farm

One Community Bank sponsors our free petting farm. Pet a zebra, bunnies, chicks, lambs, goats, ducks, mini potbelly pig, llamas, a mini horse, and a mini donkey from Haven's Petting Farm.

Bags Tournament
Register 2 - 3pm

Sponsored by Lexus of Madison. Teams register from 2-3 pm in the beer tent. The team entry fee is $50 to be eligible to win cash prizes. Play starts at 3 pm. Must be 21 years old. Kids with a guardian can be in the beer tent until 8 pm.

2:00 - 6:00pm: Pony Rides

Free pony rides sponsored by One Community Bank. Four ponies will be hand-led from our friends at Haven’s Petting Farm.

Kid's Bike Parade
Decorate 2 - 2:45

Who doesn't love a parade? Bring your bike, trike, wagon or wheelchair and decorate it for free from 2 - 2:45 pm. The kid's bike parade runs from 2:45 - 3:00 pm.

2:00 - 8:00pm: Climbing Wall

Enjoy free and unlimited rock climbing on Adventure Rock's 25 foot portable climbing wall.

3:00 - 7:00pm: Balloon Artist

A WaunaBoom favorite, Neil the Real Deal will be twisting free balloon sculptures all afternoon.

5:00 - 8:00pm: Princess My Party

Experience a free meet and greet with our four princesses from Princess My Party!

2:00 - 8:00pm: Golf Simulator

Practice your swing for free with Bishops Bay Country Club's new TrackMan indoor golf simulator. Must be +16 years old.

2:00 - 8:00pm: Mechanical Bull

Stop by the beer tent to ride Waunakee Remodeling's "Bucky" the bull for free. You must be 10+ years old to ride and 21 years old to enter the beer tent. Kids with a guardian are allowed until 8 pm.

2:00 - 8:00pm: Glitter Tattoos

Add some temporary bling with free glitter tattoos!

2:00 - 8:00pm: Toxic Meltdown

Jump over or duck under two spinning foam arms to stay on your podium. Who will be the last one standing at WaunaBoom? You must be 10+ years old to play this free activity.

2:00 - 6:30pm: Firetruck

Enjoy the free firetruck experience. Use a fire hose, see the fire engine and meet Waunakee's volunteer firefighters!

6:00 - 8:00pm: Intro to Disc Golf

Learn disc golf at WaunaBoom! This free introduction to the sport is for anyone over 10+ years old. Swing by the ball diamond on the north side of the park at 6 pm.

2:00 - 8:00pm: More Fun Things

Experience other free activities like the bubble table, sidewalk chalk, selfie station, and hopscotch.

Beer Tent:

The Waunakee Area Chamber of Commerce beer tent serves beer from Anheuser-Busch and Octopi Brewing. Children with a guardian are permitted until 8 pm. Must be 21 years old to enter. The beer tent is open from 2 - 10:30 pm.
