Come Celebrate With Us

The Village of Waunakee invites you to celebrate Independence Day at WaunaBoom! Experience live music, free family activities, food carts, an F-16 flyover, a Black Hawk fly-in, and a large fireworks display.

The headliner Tin Man Band is flying in from Texas. The opening act is a Wisconsin favorite, Pink Houses!

Join us in honoring the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing.

2 - 5:30 pm: Pink Houses

Pink Houses is a nine-piece, Wisconsin-based band that is a non-stop party of your favorite Rock, Pop, Country, and R&B hits. Their live show is a high-energy, nonstop journey through some of your favorite tunes from the 1980s to the present. Visit their website to learn more.

6 - 9:30 pm: Tin Man Band

Some of the most talented musicians and vocalists in Texas are flying in for WaunaBoom. This band is built to party! With the latest top 40 dance grooves and hits from the last four decades. This high-energy performance will have you dancing and singing along all night! Check them out.

9:45 pm: Large Fireworks Show

Stay for the impressive display by our valued partner, Chrome Fireworks and Displays. The show starts when the western horizon is completely dark. During the show, music will be playing. After the finale, lights will turn on around the park to ensure a safe departure for our guests.

Activities:

Petting Farm:
Sponsored by One Community Bank. Pet a zebra, lambs, bunnies, chicks, goats, alpaca, pot-bellied pig, donkey and a calf from Haven's Petting Farm. Free, 2 - 8 pm.

Black Hawk Fly-in:
Fly-in at 3 pm.

Climbing Wall:
Free, 2 - 8 pm

Golf Simulator:
Sponsored by Bishops Bay Country Club. Practice your swing with the club's new TrackMan indoor golf simulator. Free. Must be +16. 2 - 8 pm.

Movies in the Park:
Sponsored by Bishops Bay Country Club. Watch Sing 2, Free, 7:15 - 9 pm.

Bags Tournament:
Sponsored by Lexus of Madison. Teams register ($50) in the beer tent between 2-3 pm. Cash prizes. Must be 21 years old. Play starts at 3 pm.

Laser Tag:
Sponsored by Waunakee Remodeling. Free, 2 - 8 pm.

Balloon Artists:
Free, 3 - 7 pm

Junior Tennis Tournament:
Free, 9 am - 1:30 pm
Non-elimination, round-robin event for players at 8-14 years to gain match play experience. Players should have previous tennis experience and the ability to serve, rally, and score. Matches are self-scored. Pre-registration is required.

Hand-Led Pony Rides:
Free pony rides sponsored by One Community Bank. Four ponies will be hand-led from our friends at Haven’s Petting Farm. Free, 2 - 6 pm.

Face Caricatures:
Free, 3 - 7 pm

Emergency Vehicles:
Meet our volunteer firefighters from 2 - 6:30 pm

Glitter Tattoos:
Free, 2 - 8 pm
