JxJ is the leader of Jewish film and music cultural arts in the Washington, D.C. Maryland and Virginia region. Between the Festival and year-round programming, JxJ gives exposure to independent filmmakers and musical artists working in the Jewish and/or Israeli space.  It annually attracts 30,000 patrons across 180+ events and has been arts hub in the DC area for over 30 years.

A generous but stubborn boxing coach, Tamás gets along well with everyone but his own son. They have not spoken since his son Iván moved to Israel and became religious. When Tamás’ beloved wife Zsuzsa dies unexpectedly, Tamás agrees that Iván can come and sit shiva in his house as long as he brings his grandson Ariel with him.
