Heather Patterson has a Solo Exhibition opening May 8th with Andrea Schwartz Gallery in San Francisco.  EARTH STORM will be on view May 8 - June 13.  The opening reception will include live jazz with the Eric Markowitz Trio and a special wine pouring with Heather's newest label for Imagery Estate Winery, the Blanc de Noirs.

Melanie Grein just finished teaching an art workshop in Puerto Rico for Women in Pediatrics Conference at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve. It was an ideal setting for inspiration, and creativity.

Creative expression is so good for mental wellbeing. It stimulates the imagination, makes you more observant, enhances problem solving skills,  increases connectivity of the left and right brains, reduces stress, increases our self awareness and allows us to be open to new ideas and experiences. This is the second time Melanie has taught for Women in Pediatrics.

Farida Hughes has new work in person and online through the end of May at Van Zaig Gallery in Palm Desert, California, including this painting titled “Moons.”

Malcolm Easton’s Identified Flying Objects will be included in an exhibit showcasing historical Surrealist artists as well as contemporary Surrealist practitioners. Southwest Surrealism will be on display from June 7 through July 20 at the Prescott Art Gallery. The historical part of the exhibit will feature work by Surrealist luminaries Max Ernst and Dorothy Tanner. The curator of the show is artist Amy Ernst, granddaughter of Max Ernst.
