MEMBER NEWS AND UPDATES

North Attleboro Launches $150,000 Business Accelerator Program to Support Local Businesses and Entrepreneurs

North Attleboro has pledged $150,000 to encourage and assist small businesses and entrepreneurs seeking opportunities in the town. Senator Paul Feeney, D-Foxboro, secured the funds for the new North Attleboro Business Accelerator program.

Interested entrepreneurs may find application forms on the Town website starting July 10 at https://www.nattleboro.com/naba. Each application will be reviewed and judged on its merits and grants up to $25,000 will be available in mid-August.

North Attleboro-based businesses only will be considered for awards, and successful applicants must agree to keep their business in the town. The Town Council’s Economic Growth and Sustainability Subcommittee voted unanimously for the program, saying it would be a good return on investment. This is a one-year program, and it will remain in effect until the funding is completely depleted.

For those who need additional assistance, including translation, please contact Lyle Pirnie at [email protected]. Paper applications are available in the Town Manager’s Office.
