Summer Exhibition Opening Celebration is this Thursday!

We're putting the finishing touches on our Summer 2022 Exhibitions--and they look amazing! Don't forget to join us this Thursday, May 26th, from 5-8 P.M., when we unveil our two new shows: Reemergence and Reconnecting: A Youth Arts Council Takeover and Deep Dive: Selections from the Permanent Collection, Though both feature pieces from our permanent collection, they come from entirely different approaches. In Reemergence and Reconnecting, Wichita-area high school students passionate about art curate a show from collection pieces that resonated most with them. Deep Dive, meanwhile, features selections near and dear to the staff. Come join us for food, drink, conversation, and lots of amazing art! Free and open to all.

In honor of our new summer exhibition, Deep Dive, we're taking our own plunge into the life aquatic by getting in on the hashtag craze, #accidentallywesanderson... except in our case, we've created #accidentallywesandersonwichita! Post to social media your photos of quirky, unique places in Wichita that you think could be in a Wes Anderson movie (like the Corbin Education Center), use our hashtag, and we'll showcase those photos during our party on Thursday! We hope to see you there--and we'd love to see your photos!
