Arts in the Park: Summer Nights

Saturdays, July 16th, August 20th, and September 17th

Join us at the Williams Gazebo (corner of North Street & Pleasant Street) for music, food, and movies under the stars! This month, Stajez Cultural Arts Center is offering a free dance performance beginning at the 5:30pm and at dusk the Turner Free Library will be presenting an outdoor screening of Spiderman: No Way Home (PG-13). Pack a lawn chair or picnic blanket and join us for this free event!

All Ages Summer Reading Program

 June 6th-August 6th

Read off the beaten path this summer in our 2022 Summer Reading Program! Earn raffle tickets for reading throughout the summer and get entered into drawings for weekly and monthly prizes. You'll also be able to earn raffle tickets by attending library programs and writing reviews.

Visit turnerfreelibrary.org/summer for more information, including school-assigned reading and cool events happening all summer long at the TFL.

All Ages Slime Party

Wednesday, July 6th, 5:00-6:00PM

Join us for an all ages slime party! If you like making slime or playing with slime, this is the program for you! We provide the supplies, so just bring your enthusiasm. Registration is required. See you there!

Summer Teen Task Force

Thursdays in July and August from 2-4PM, beginning July 14th

Are you a teen in need of community service hours? This summer, teens in grades 7-12 can earn community service hours at the library as part of our Teen Task Force! No registration required!  Teens will be focusing on a variety of projects around the library.  Please note:  Teens can earn 2 hours of community service per week. In order to get the full two hours, teens must arrive no later than 10 minutes after the program start time and stay the full time. Teens who come later will not be able to earn community service for that week.

Project Bread: Free Lunches!

Mondays-Fridays, 12-1PM beginning July 5th

Kids under 18 eat free with Project Bread! Please note that meals must be eaten onsite this summer.
