NOVEMBER 2022 THANKSGIVING MEALS  

North County

Thanksgiving Dinner For Seniors - For Seniors 60 years of age and older who are alone on Thanksgiving and have no way of having a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The meals are delivered on Thanksgiving Day by volunteers between 11am- 12pm and are FREE.  Service area is: North Adams, Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, Williamstown and Florida Mountain. All seniors who wish to receive a meal must make a reservation. Reservations can be made from November 7 - November 18 by calling All Saints Berkshires Episcopal Church at 413-664-9656 Monday - Thursday from 8am to 1pm. If no answer: Leave your name, address, town, phone number and someone will return your call.

The Berkshire Food Project will host their annual free traditional Thanksgiving meal for the community on Monday, November 21 at their dining room at the First Congregational Church, 134 Main St in North Adams, Summer St entrance. There will be two seatings: 11:30am – 12:30pm and 1;30- 2:20pm. All are welcome. They will also be open on Wednesday, November 23 but closed on Friday, November 25.

Central County

Thanksgiving Angels (Pittsfield) - Free Turkey & Fixings: Sponsored by a collaboration of food pantries, organizations, and faith communities, Thanksgiving Angels addresses local food insufficiency by providing more than 1,400 families with uncooked turkeys and the fixings to celebrate a traditional Thanksgiving meal in their own homes. Advance sign-ups were in October. Each household will receive an uncooked turkey and all the fixings for a prepare-your- own meal. Pickup will be Nov. 21 at 110 South St. Participants will be assigned a designated pickup time at sign-up. Christian Center, 193 Robbins Ave, Pittsfield –Home-delivered Thanksgiving dinners are offered for the homebound, as well as a sit down Thanksgiving Dinner for the community at noon at the Christian Center. If you live at one of the following housing complexes please sign up at your building by November 21 for a delivered meal:

Epworth Arms, Columbia Arms, Providence Court, Capital Square, Berkshiretown, Francis Plaza, Rose Manor, Wahconah Heights, Central Annex, Union Court and the YMCA.

You may also register by calling the Christian Center at 413-443-2828ESBC MOW clients not in these buildings should let their driver know if they are interested & ESBC will send a list to the Christian Center.

South County

Berkshire South Regional Community Center Community Thanks Supper, Tuesday, November 22: a free community Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. Three seatings: 4pm, 5:15pm, 6;30pm. Prepared by different local Chefs. They continue their annual celebration of delicious food and great fellowship. Volunteer opportunities available. The Guthrie Center Thursday November 24, 1pm. Free Thanksgiving dinner for folks who might not have anyone to share the day with or the means to enjoy a good dinner. For reservations call 413-528-1955 Tu – Fri 10am – 3pm. 2 Van Deusenville Rd, Great Barrington.
