A Champion Fiddler and a Symphony Premiere

Eileen Ivers, an All-Ireland Champion Fiddler, will bring her act to Infinity Hall this week while Yale Summer School of Arts will present a world premiere of American Discovery Symphony, an orchestrated travelogue and love story about a 5,000-mile walk across the country. In other events scheduled for this week we find a performance by singer-songwriter Karla Borloff, also at Infinity Hall. Truly, music is a vehicle that binds the world together! Alas, the Norfolk Land Trust's annual benefit to raise funds for the purchase of 235-acres of Kopp property has sold out, but that does not means that donations toward the purchase would not be welcome. Another chance to give back to the community comes through a plea from the Church of Christ Congregational, which needs volunteers to help livestream Sunday services. There is only one municipal meeting this week--the Conservation Commission on Monday night.
