On Saturday September 17 at 11:00 AM please join us for a special family program with songwriter and music therapist Maya Rogers Sherman and friends. This  interactive musical performance features Maya's original story about the power of our hopes and dreams, accompanied by a variety of orchestral instruments. You'll hear strings, a flute, clarinet, keyboard, drums and bass and will enjoy seeing these instruments up close. During the program you'll also learn some fun and simple ways to use music to boost mental and emotional wellbeing. The program will conclude with a tree-planting ceremony and we’ll use our dreams to create a garden of hope. This program is made possible with the support of the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Office of the Arts. We plan to have the program outside, but will move inside if it rains (with an outside tree planting for anyone who doesn't mind getting a little wet).
