“Elder Fraud” Presented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation

Tuesday, October 4, 1:30 - 3:00pm

The FBI’s Elder Fraud presentation covers current fraud trends impacting the senior community including romance scams, lottery scams, tech support scams, investment scams and imposter scams. Attendees will receive tips and tools to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Memory Cafe

Wednesday, October 12, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Memory Café is back! Since COVID our Memory Café has been cancelled. We know the importance of in-person connections, especially when a loved one has dementia. We welcome your return to our newly revived Memory Café. We hope that caregivers and their loved ones can socialize and share in some meaningful activities. We continue to work with Minutewoman Homecare and new this fall we are having Artis Senior Living team up with them to sponsor this program.

This program is part of a growing nationwide movement to provide community–based support, stimulation and education for people and families living with cognitive decline. At each Café, individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, along with their caregivers gather. Please email [email protected] or drop in to our in-person Memory Café!

Dale Tamburro - Benefits of Trusts

Thursday October 13, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Dale will discuss what a trust is, the components of a trust, probate avoidance, protecting your home & other asset protection, minimize estate taxes and management of trust assets if you are disabled or for children/grandchildren. 

Harvest Festival

Saturday, October 15th, 11am – 1pm

Celebrate the start of fall with family games, activities and crafts. Bring your kids, your grandkids, your friends or your neighbors! This event is sensory friendly, multi-generational, and fun for the whole family! Entry is $5 per person with a cap of $20 per family (Families of 4+). Seniors ages 60+ will receive free admission.

Nutrition Talk: Fit After 50
