On Tuesday, September 27, First Lady Kathy Sisolak and Governor Steve Sisolak will be hosting “The First Lady Presents...” Second Annual Art Exhibition in the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City.

"The First Lady Presents...” is a statewide initiative to showcase dedication towards cultural awareness, education and diversity through art in Nevada. Each month, a contemporary artist is paired with an artifact from the Nevada State Museum’s Curator Corner. The opening reception will kick off the 6-month public display of artwork honoring and including the featured program artists from November 2021 through September 2022.

Josh Bonde, Director of the Nevada State Museum in Carson City, and Mark Salinas, independent curator of this arts education initiative, will be joining the reception, alongside featured artists and others in the arts community.
