One Book One Community Book Club 

The Ladue School District invites students, parents, staff, and the entire community to join us in reading Disability Visibility by Alice Wong. The district will then host a community book discussion on Nov. 15 in the LHWHS library. Dinner will be provided, but they ask that you please RSVP.

Olivette Turkey Trot 
It's getting close to Turkey Day! Start your morning off at the annual Olivette Turkey Trot.

Spread the word to your family, friends, and neighbors to join you and over 1,600 people for a fun-filled time!

Turkey Trot Food Drive 

The Annual Olivette Turkey Trot Food Drive is underway! Did you know 1 in 6 people in the St. Louis region experience food insecurity? You can help! Donate something you love or like to eat! Also accepting personal care items. 

All food donations benefit the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry. As the largest food pantry in the region, the HKJFP annually serves more than 15,000 people from 72 different zip codes throughout St. Louis City and St. Louis County. The HKJFP provides at least 10 days of food, including kosher options, and personal care items to more than 6,000 children, adults, and seniors every month.

Donation bins are at the City Center (1140 Dielman Road) during regular business hours 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. You can also bring donations the morning of the 9th Annual Turkey Trot on November 24th, 2022.

Fall Leaf Collection 

The City of Olivette provides curbside leaf collection for residential properties through services contracted with Hendel Lawncare, Inc.

The first of four separate passes began the first week of November. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Toys for Tots

Make a local child's dream come true this holiday season! The Olivette Fire Department is collecting toys through December 12th in partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots Program. 

Bring new, unwrapped toys to the Olivette City Center (1140 Dielman Road) now through December 12, 2022, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Attention Pet Owners

It's that time again! All cats and dogs must be registered with the City of Olivette. Registration is due by December 31, 2022, or late fees apply. License renewal is available online.

Run for City Council 

If you’re fired up about issues facing your local community and you’re ready to act, you should run for the Olivette City Council. 

Application packets are available for pick-up at 8:00 am on November 22, 2022.

Cops 4 Pets 

In our fourth year, The City of Olivette will collect pet donations during the entire month of December. Donation bins will be located in the lobby of the Olivette City Center (1140 Dielman Rd). Pet donations will be distributed to local St. Louis metro local stray and rescue shelters.

Stop Gun Violence 

Did you know that the Olivette Police Department offers free gun locks for the community? 

Gun locks are available Monday- Friday during regular business hours.

The Parks and Recreation Department Has Moved

The Olivette Parks and Recreation Department has moved to the City Center, 1140 Dielman Rd. The Parks & Recreation Department will operate from the City Center until it moves into the new community center, Five Oaks on Warson, in late spring 2023.

Closings in Parks 

The park restrooms and drinking fountains at Indian Meadows, Irv Zeid, and Villa Parks are closed for the season and will re-open on April 15, 2023.

The exception is Stacy Park, and those restrooms remain open year-round.

Fall Into Fitness

Starry Nights at Stacy 

Join us and the St. Louis Astronomical Society for an evening of star gazing in Stacy Park on November 17th at 6:00 pm!

Night viewing activities will take place in the center of the park, as it is a flat area where telescopes can easily be set up, and it is away from tall trees, so a large part of the sky can be seen.

Kids' Night Out

Parents, are you looking for a quiet, kid-free night at home or a romantic dinner out? Let us give you the opportunity to take a well-deserved break. Kid’s Night Out is all about your child having an action-packed, exciting night out! All inside the Olivette City Center. They'll be able to make new friends, learn new games, and have a fun night with our Recreation Staff! Masks Optional.

Registration for Youth Basketball is open for 1st - 5th Grade, individuals, and teams! Join Olivette Parks and Recreation this winter for 2022 Youth Basketball!
