Marion, OH -- The Palace Cultural Arts Association (PCAA) is pleased to announce two live events will take place during the month of August at the Marion Palace Theatre.

An Evening With Friends is a fundraiser in support of the Marion Palace Theatre and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – The James through Pelotonia. On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 7:30pm local talent will come together for a one-night cabaret-style performance, including solo, duet, and group numbers, to raise funds for these two vital non-profits. Performers include Lynette Burris, Bruce Cudd, Dee Ehrman, Lindsey Gale, Sharon Gale, Sara Grote, Kathy Hill, Danielle Knight, Dustin Rawlins, Jami Rawlins, Madi Schenk, Morgan Schwartz, Keitha Voorheis, Brady Wink, Kristi Wink, Sadie Wink, and Tanner Wink. There will be a live auction as part of the fundraiser. Items being auctioned off include VIP seats and personal meet and greets with Lee Greenwood and the Righteous Brothers, a marquee membership, and other Palace-related items. There will be a cash bar and concessions available. General admission tickets are $25. Sponsored by Marion Logistics Services & Andy Harper

In this Season of New Adventures, we invite you to journey to the Palace to experience SATURDAY NIGHT SPECTACULAR, an outrageous collection of variety entertainment. This series is designed to bring singers, musicians, comedians, jugglers, and the audience together for two jam-packed hours of live theatre. Each Saturday night features two top veteran entertainers in their respective fields. Enjoy a family-fun attraction for everyone. Our first Saturday Night Spectacular installment, on Saturday, August 27 at 7:30pm, will feature comedian Steve Bruner and Rockstar juggler Mike Price. Steve Bruner is described by Laugh.com as “one of the most successful comedians in the business. Clean, smart, and funny define Steve.” On stage, Mike Price is a tightly wound ball of energy; an artist who focuses so intently on the work that he has emerged as the best in his field. His ability to invent and perform the most technically difficult tricks in the world allowed him to capture first place in the international juggling championships and become a contestant on Season 7 “America’s Got Talent.” Tickets start at $20. Sponsored by Mike & Kelly Andrews and Radford Motors
