The Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra has Opened the 2024 Jeanne Selander Concerto Competition

The Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra has opened the 2024 Jeanne Selander Concerto Competition to all students living within a 50 mile radius of Lowell.

The competition is open to anyone who will be less than eighteen years old or still in high school in May of 2024 and resides within 50 mi of Lowell, MA.

This year’s concerto competition will require participants to prepare any single movement of any major work and perform in front of a panel of judges on January 6, 2024 (Snow Date: January 13, 2024).

The applications deadline has been extended to December 23, 2023. There is a $35 non-refundable fee via PayPal through a credit card.

The winner of the competition will be invited to perform with the LPO during it's Family Concert and will also receive a $500 prize sponsored by Falcetti Pianos!
