APS Power Outage Details and Constituent Assistance Information

Last week was a difficult week in our district and across the county with the APS extended power outages as a result of storm damage to utility infrastructure. To provide you perspective, the recent monsoon storms completely destroyed over 30 power poles and damaged three substations which led to the outage.

As soon as APS was able to identify the scope of damage, Pinal County, The City of Eloy and APS worked together to provide resources to help families impacted by this outage. With power restored, our community will continue to feel the after effects of food insecurity and other financial obstacles.

If you are in need of food assistance or have questions about resources available to Eloy and Arizona City residents, please contact Mike Cruz at (520) 866-7402 or Click Here .

Thank you to everyone that played a role in helping these impacted communities. On behalf of Pinal County, we sincerely appreciate you.

Eloy and Arizona City Relief Fund
With the recent APS extended power outages, it has posed several obstacles for families and our community as we move forward. The United Way of Pinal County (UWPC) has stepped in to work with the county to identify the needs of the community to help families during the recovery process. UWPC has been accepting donations with all the funding going to aid in the relief efforts.

UWPC will be working with local food banks and non-profits to deliver this funding to help these organizations continue to provide vital services and support such as food box distribution, utility assistance, and so much more.
