The new restaurant will be led by franchise owner and U.S. Navy veteran Brenda Schmidt, and her daughter.

Schmidt was born and raised in the Tigard-area and spent 12 years in the Navy serving as a general surgeon before embarking on her new venture in the restaurant industry. Driven by the desire to be her own boss, Schmidt was excited to start a new career path that gave her the opportunity to run her own business and loved that The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill has an excellent reputation for flavorful recipes and fresh ingredients.
