The Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra is ready to launch into 2024 with a series of extraordinary concert performances. With about 50 musicians from Lake County and all over the world, their musical talents are brought right here to you each year.

January 18 & 19 Concerts: Prepare for a creative rough and tumble musical performance balanced with tender sound delights in the “From Russia with Love” concert presented by the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra. They will kick this concert off with “Trepak” from Tschaikowsky, before transitioning quickly into the most romantic and technically challenging of Tschaikowsky’s many works. The internationally renowned Tschaikowsky Violin Concerto will be brought to you by FLSO’s Concert Master, Konstantin Dimitrov. The second half of this program will bring brilliant tumult with “Ruslan & Ludmilla,” tenderness with Rachmaninov’s “Vocalise” performed by vocalist Aleksandra Vargas, and with some humor from “Fiddler on the Roof.” A surprise with “Moscow Nights” and its jazz interval- “Midnight in Moscow,” beauty will be performed with an excerpt from Stravinsky’s Firebird — “Berceuse et Finale,” as well as a dash of bravado with “Russian Sailor’s Dance.” All this will be presented under the baton of famed clarinetist and conductor of the Cleveland Pops, Carl Topilow, sojourning with the FLSO as Principal Guest Conductor.

February 15 & 16 2024 Concerts: Get ready to celebrate Valentine’s week for a night of Valentine’s love with your sweetheart. Sharing just a small sneak peek, famed Conductor Paul Hostetter will join the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra for their ‘Latin Valentine Concerts.” February will include a whirlwind of romantic Latin rhythm and sounds that will thrill the audiences when the FLSO breaks into motion with “La Bamba,” “Carmen,” “El Amor Brujo / Burning Love,” “Cinema Paradiso,” “O Sole Mio,” “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Zigeunerweisen,” “Tico, Tico” and more, with singers Sasha Vargas and Marco Romano as well as with orchestra soloists Konstantin Dimitrov and Cesar Rangel.

More For Season 19! On March 21 & 22, "Western Serenade" will be presented with “High Noon”, “On the Trail” and other cowboy favorites plus Dvorak’s “New World Symphony” with guest conductor Carl Topilow. The April 18 & 19, 2024 Cherry Blossoms Concert with Spring Pops Impressions will be led by guest conductor, Shungo Moriyama coming here from Japan. The FLSO was established by European composer and pianist, Guy Saint-Clair and his wife, portrait artist and CEO Audrey Sanders in 2005. Bulgarian virtuoso violinist, Konstantin Dimitrov, has anchored the FLSO as Concert Master since 2006.

Central Florida Concert Locations: The new 2024 Concert Season will have their first night concerts held in Eustis and their second night performances will be held in Winter Garden, Florida. The Thursday performances for this new season will start at 7:30 PM at the at Unitarian Universalist, located at 1235 Mount Homer Road in Eustis, FL 32726, right behind Publix. The Friday night South Lake concert will be performed at the Church of the Messiah located at 241 North Main Street in historic Winter Garden, FL 34787 at 7:30 PM. Come early for your choice of seating.

Florida Lakes Symphony History: In 2005, the internationally respected classical concert pianist and composer Guy Saint-Clair came to Lake County from their home in Europe with his wife and portrait artist Audrey Sanders. That same year they established Lake County's first professional symphony orchestra, the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra. Through the years, they have hosted a series of guest conductors from around the world. With the immense guiding light and musical sense of the Founder, Guy Saint-Clair with supportive artistic and administrative skills of the co-founder, Audrey Sanders as Executive Director, this orchestra was established as a formidable force on the cultural scene of Central Florida.
