The Egg has announced that the Watkins Family Hour (October 27) and Rhett Miller (November 12) will be performing as part of its 2022 concert series.

Watkins Family Hour

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27, 7:30 PM, $36

The Watkins Family Hour is a free-wheeling roots music variety show hosted by the brother-sister team of fiddler Sara and guitarist Sean Watkins – who are also two-thirds of the bluegrass trio Nickel Creek.  They celebrate their 20th anniversary with a new album and tour joined by special guests.

Rhett Miller (of the Old 97’s)

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 7:30 PM,  $29.50

Rhett Miller, perhaps best known as the front man of the alt-country band the Old 97's, has led a parallel career as a solo artist, releasing eight indie-rock albums as a leader.  Rhett performs an intimate solo, acoustic concert with singer/songwriter Diana Demuth opening the show.
