Library Hours are:
Mondays, 10am - 5pm
Tuesdays, 1pm - 8pm
Wednesdays, 10am - 5pm
Thursdays, 1pm - 8pm
Fridays, 10am - 5pm
Saturdays, 10am - 5pm

The Library will be CLOSED on Monday, January 2, 2023 for the
New Year's Day Holiday and
Monday, January 16, 2023 for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday

Adult/Teen  Events

Adult Coloring and Chat
Thursday, January 12 @  6:00pm
Meets the second Thursday of the month for coloring and conversation. The Library has some supplies but you are also welcome to bring your own. No need to register.

UFO - Unfinished Craft Objects
Saturday, January 21 @ 10:30a

If you have unfinished crafts lying around, bring them to our U.F.O. (Unfinished Craft Objects) event at the Library!

Crafters of all ages are invited to come out to share their projects, meet like-minded creatives, and feel part of a community of makers.  All crafters are welcome, but if you are a beginning sewer and/or quilter, Dawn Zillich, the Stitching Coach, will be available to help you work through any challenging parts of your project.

Basics of Electricity

Let’s dive into the world of circuits. Using a breadboard, jumper cables and battery pack, we will explore the different types of circuits, and how capacitors and resistors affect the circuit in this beginner’s class.

Are you looking for help learning basic computer skills?  Mouse control and movement?  Navigating a web browser?  Attaching photos or files to e-mails?  In partnership with the Connecticut State Library, we are offering Northstar Digital Literacy assessments and workshops.  You can develop digital literacy skills at your own pace or participate in small group afternoon classes.

We are now taking registration for small group Basic Computer Skills classes that will begin in mid-January!
