Tempe Festival of the Arts has a 50+ year history in Tempe and takes place in early December and late March each year.  It is one of the oldest festivals in the Southwest.   The festival has grown to become a Tempe point of pride and a favorite of our residents and visitors.   Guests enjoy artists from around the country, local music, a Kids Block and many great food options - all located on the streets of historic Mill Avenue.

Festival Entertainment

The Bluegrass Experience with Jam Pak
Contagiously fun pickin’ and grinnin’ by the award-winning childrens music group and others! On 7th St and Mill Ave.

Henna Shoppe
Henna art from top local merchant. On Mill next to the Valley Art.

Photo Booth
Stop by and take some photos with your friends and families at our free photo booth hosted by Pajarita Creative. The photo booth is located on the east side of Mill Ave between 5th St. and 6th. St.

Kids Block & Atomic Balloons
Head over to Kid's Block on Saturday and Sunday. We are featuring to a one of kind zany one man show called "Dangerously Fun Juggling" by James R. Juggler. Check program for showtimes throughout the weekend.
Kid's Block will also feature Atomic Balloons on Saturday and Sunday. Several designs to choose from. Come pick your favorite. Free to all.

Unicycling Unicorn
Check out the world famous "Unicycling Unicorn" at our newest entertainment location on the corner of 6th St. and Mill. It's a one-of-a-kind show. Check program for showtimes throughout the weekend.
