2022 Teen Photo Contest Submissions Due October 26 at Canton Library

Enter the Fifth Annual Teen Photography Contest at the Canton Public Library!  Inviting all aspiring middle and high school photographers to snap and submit potential award-winning photos. Submissions are due Wednesday, October 26 by 8:00 p.m. During November all submitted photos will be on display at the Canton Library in a month-long photographic art show. The contest is open to Farmington Valley resident-students in Grades 7-12.

Here’s how to enter: Drop off or mail your 8x10 photos to the library. Entries should include name, age, grade, school, photo title and category listed on the back of the print. Categories are: Portrait, Landscape/Nature, Animals, Abstract/Design, Manmade, and Digitally Enhanced. There is a limit of three photographs per teen. Photos must have been taken within the past year.

Winners will be judged by a panel of local photographers and artists and will be announced at the opening reception and awards ceremony at the library on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:30 p.m. Consider entering the Teen Photo Contest! It’s free to enter.
