Festival 2023-Sacred Dance Guild 65th Anniversary Event

JOIN US at the beautiful campus of Connecticut College in New London, CT with an excursion back to Jacob’s Pillow – where the Festival experience began back in 1958….

This “mini” festival of sacred dance will take us on a journey of discovery – past present and future – celebrating 65 revolutions around the sun! The experience will be SIMPLE it will be SACRED it will be DANCE!

HARMONY... something we all are yearning for after these past few years where it seemed in short supply personally, collectively and globally and where “SPACE” became such a visceral experience! (who will ever forget the many “Stay 6′ Apart” signs!!) We will experience 3 days of caring connections, intentional interactions and deep dancing! Our awesome facilitators – Helena Froehlich and Marylee Hardenbergh – are creating a sensory, moving exploration awakening all of our senses through movement and imagination. We will connect internally and externally as we discover the many portals to the sacred in the amazing spaces we will encounter. We will hone our intuition, kinesthetic intelligence, expressivity and empathy for the physical and non-physical spaces creating a Moving Masterpiece!
