SCS and Region One Reads Summer 2022
Thanks in part to the generosity of Friends of the Scoville Memorial Library, students & families across Region One, will be reading fascinating books on the theme Oceans of Possibilities! Copies of the three books selected for different age groups are available at the library and count toward your Summer Reading Challenge!
Every Child A Reader: Book Voting Opportunity for Kids & Teens!
Since 2008, the KIDS' BOOK CHOICE AWARDS has been the only national book awards program where the finalists and winners are picked by young people. This is the second year that we invite young readers to vote in round one to determine this year's finalists. This program has allowed millions of young readers to voice their choice when it comes to their favorite books of the year. Cast your vote today!

Local writer and poet, Abbey Gallagher, is continuing our adolescent writing workshop series ONLINE using written prompts, physical objects, images, and much more to spark curiosity and imagination in new or regular writers.
The program meets online every Friday.
