More Amazing Women!

Hedy Lamarr: an Austrian actress who came to America and became a movie star. This portrait was inspired by a still from Ziegfeld Girl. Hedy later became a scientist and inventor, best know for inventing the technology behind WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Malala Yousafzai: a young Pakistani school girl who was shot in the head just for going to school. Malala survived, became a Nobel peace Prize Winner and Education Activist.

Both portraits are junk mail collages, created entirely by hand, on deep canvas. 24x30” Edges are embellished with additional paper. No frame needed.
