Rodeo This Weekend at Mohave County Fairgrounds
Carnival and the Home & Garden Show Coming Mid-April

The county Fairgrounds is currently prepping for an exciting and busy cowboy roundup event. This weekend, March 4 and 5, the venue will be hosting the 38th Annual PRCA Rodeo with the Kingsmen. This should be the largest rodeo that has ever taken place at the County Fairgrounds. It’s Saturday and Sunday and the gates open at 4 PM each day. The rodeo itself starts at 6 PM on both nights.

On April 13 through April 16 (Thursday through Sunday), Mohave County welcomes back Brown’s Amusements for its annual Spring Carnival. Loads of rides, great food and pure fun are in store. Carnival wristbands and tickets will be available for purchase at the Fairgrounds starting April 13., the first day of the festivities.

Finally, the same weekend as the carnival, the Home and Garden Show will take place in the expo building, Saturday and Sunday April 15 & 16 and a BMX State Qualifier (Saturday) at the BMX Track.

Meanwhile, in addition to the events, many renovations are happening all around the facility. Staff, contractors, and volunteers have been immersed in painting, completing restroom upgrades, grounds maintenance, and arena improvements.

An updated press release on Mohave County’s annual Fair in September will be upcoming soon.  It will include some exciting news regarding entertainment, including specific bands and performance times.
