Join us for our inaugural Queen Beez Festival! We’re celebrating the annual release of our Queen Beez Imperial Honey Blonde Ale, made with real honey from local beekeeper Bobbee MacBee’s. Ball Ground local businesses are joining the 2-day celebration. Check out the below details for happenings and date/time.

Schedule:

Saturday, August 19, 2023:

10 AM: Meet at Barrel House Coffee for  “Meet the beekeeper”, then tour the Ball Ground Botanical Garden Count with plant-pollinator expert, and participate in SE pollinator count. 

Noon – 8 PM: Choate BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends infused with honey available for purchase at RockSolid’s taproom

1 PM – 4 PM: Bobbee MacBee’s meet and greet, honey product sale, and observation hive in our taproom.

1 PM – 4 PM: Pollinator Info and Presentation by The Cherokee County Extension Office in our taproom.

1 PM – 2 PM: NY Times Spelling Bee Family Fun

2 PM – 3 PM: Trivia games with prizes!

6 PM – 9 PM: Live acoustic set featuring Curtis and Kim Mountain Gypsy Music.

Sunday, August 20, 2023:

1 PM – 3 PM: Queen Beez Paint and Sip, hosted by RockSolid owner/artist Denise Alberga. You will be painting an 11″ x 14″ of “Queen Bee”, as pictured below. All necessary materials are included! The purchase of alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages is not included. This is a limited-seat event!

1 PM – 6 PM: Cheez’d and Confuzed food truck outside RockSolid taproom.
