La Crosse, WI - Tickets are on sale now for bestselling author, humorist, and singer/songwriter, Michael Perry. He returns to the Pump House Regional Arts Center's Dayton Theater on September 22, 2023 for a performance at 7:30 pm.

Perry’s bestselling memoirs include Population: 485 (subsequently adapted for the stage), Truck: A Love Story , Coop , Visiting Tom , and Montaigne in Barn Boots. Among his other dozen titles are The Scavengers (for young readers), his novel The Jesus Cow, Peaceful

Persistence, Hunker, and his most recent book , the novella Forty Acres Deep . Raised on a small Midwestern dairy farm, Perry put himself through nursing school while working on a ranch in Wyoming, then detoured into writing. He lives with his wife and two daughters in rural Wisconsin, where he still makes an occasional call with the local volunteer fire and rescue service. He hosts the nationally-syndicated "Tent Show Radio," performs widely as a humorist, and tours with his band the Long Beds. His three live humor albums include Never Stand Behind A Sneezing Cow and The Clodhopper Monologues . He can be found online at www.sneezingcow.com. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at thepumphouse.org, by calling 608-785-1434, or by visiting the Pump House Box office at 119 King Street in La Crosse. The box office is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. Hours extend to 7:00 pm on Tuesdays. Tickets are also available at the door.

About the Pump House Regional Arts Center

The Pump House Regional Arts Center, located in downtown La Crosse, WI, is home to a wide range of visual and performing arts activities. The historic building, built in 1880 as the city water pumping station, was converted to a cultural center in 1977 and is affectionately called by locals the “Pump House.” The Pump House features three exhibition galleries, a 140 seat theater, art education classrooms complete with a kiln and pottery wheels, a conference room and an outdoor courtyard with seating. It is a fully accessible and smoke-free environment.
