Town of Queen Creek Offering Free Child Seat Safety Inspection

The Queen Creek Fire & Medical Department (QCFMD) will be offering a free child car seat installation and safety inspection event on Friday, Jan. 27 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Fire Station 1, located at 20678 E. Civic Parkway.

“QCFMD is excited to offer this opportunity to our residents once again. Car crashes are the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13. Car seats and boosters provide much needed protection for infants and children involved in a crash, so we hope to see a great turnout at this event and our trained technicians will be there to make sure the job is done correctly,” said Andrew Marlar, Deputy Fire Chief at the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department.

The event does require prior registration. Participants will need to bring their own car seats and the instructions that came with the seat.
