The Osceola County School Board believes strongly in the benefits of athletics to positively impact students and schools both inside and outside of the classroom.  As such, the Osceola School District has awarded the following 2022 Orange Belt Conference Athletic Awards:

Female Academic Student Athlete of the Year: Riley Decoster - Harmony High School

4.58 weighted GPA, Sideline Cheer, Competitive Cheer and Flag Football 

Male Academic Student Athlete of the Year: Zachary Zelmanski - Celebration High School

4.59 Weighted GPA, Cross Country and Lacrosse

Top Female Academic Team: Celebration High –Golf Team 3.882 GPA 

Top Male Academic Team: Osceola High –Cross Country Team 3.780 GPA

Overall Academic GPA Champions:  Celebration High and St. Cloud High - 3.405 GPA

Orange Belt Conference All Sport Champion: Harmony High

Female County Player of the Year: Paige Alise – Gateway High

Male County Player of the Year: Felipe Costa – Celebration High

Mike Fields Distinguished Leadership Award: Cory Aun – St. Cloud High School

M. Dean Cherry Memorial Coach of the Year: Laura Jones - Celebration High School

Gateway High: Tane Crossley – Track
Harmony High: Nick Lippert – Weightlifting
Liberty High: Zachary Tayes – Baseball
Osceola High: Eric Pinellas – Football/Track
Poinciana High: Mike Koudelka – Soccer
St. Cloud High: Cory Aun – Weightlifting
Tohopekaliga High: Jennifer Farrell - Basketball
OBC Athletic Director of the Year: Dan Kerr - Harmony High School and Lonnie Flores - Tohopekaliga High School

OBC Lifetime Achievement Award - George Coffey – Osceola High School Softball 1994-2019

Coached for 26 seasons, 13 OBC Titles, 9 District Championships, 2 Regional Championships

"I am extremely proud to recognize these individuals for their amazing accomplishments," said Osceola School District Superintendent Dr. Debra Pace. "The Osceola School District is home to tremendous student athletes, coaches, and sports programs that promote excellence in the classroom, in competition, and in life."
