Administrative Appointments

Yvette Ponzoa, Principal of NeoCity Academy
Yvette Ponzoa has held the following positions: Teacher at The Baudhuin School in Fort Lauderdale (1994-1999); Teacher at Pasadena Lakes Elementary in Pembroke Pines (1999-2001); Autism Specialist at Country Isles Elementary in Weston (2001-2002); Resource Compliance Specialist at Celebration High and Celebration School (2002-2007); Dean of Students at Celebration High and Kissimmee Middle (2007-2011); Assistant Principal at Celebration High (2011-2018) and Assistant Principal at Gateway High (2018-present). She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in Varying Exceptionalities, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Danielle Malfara, Coordinator of College and Career
Danielle Malfara has held the following positions: Family and Guest Program Coordinator, Program Coordinator, and Professional Development Coordinator for the University of Iowa (2012-2014); Associate Director of Dimensions: The Center for the Science and Culture of Healthcare at Cornell College (2014-2016); Teacher at Poinciana High School (2017-2019); AVID Teacher and Coordinator at Westside K-8 (2020-2021); and College and Career Counselor at Poinciana High (2021-present). She received her a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Iowa.
