The Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments on June 21, 2022:

Dr. Rene Clayton, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Choices and Innovation

Dr. Rene Clayton has held the following positions: Teacher and Reading Specialist at Mill Creek Elementary and Cypress Elementary (1994-2002); Assistant Principal at Pleasant Hill Elementary (2002-2005); Principal of Pleasant Hill Elementary (2005-2010); Principal of Celebration K-8 (2010-2015); Principal On Assignment for the Office of School Improvement and the District Leadership Development Team for the Osceola School District (2015-2017); Director of Middle and K-8 Schools for the Osceola School District (2017-2020); and Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Schools for Volusia County Schools (2020-present). She received her bachelor’s degree and master's degree in Education from the University of Florida, an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University, and a doctorate's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.
Michelli Morales Reyes, Assistant Principal of Chesnut Elementary School for Science and Engineering
Michelli Morales Reyes has held the following positions: Teacher at Chestnut Elementary and Deerwood Elementary (2014-2019); 21st Century Site Coordinator for the Osceola School District (2019 to present); AVID Site Coordinator, Learning Resource Specialist, and Math and Science Coach at Deerwood Elementary (2019-2021); and District Science Resource Specialist for the Osceola School District (2021-present).
