Orange County Center for Contemporary Art - Save the date: Saturday January 7 - Opening Reception

Arts and Entertainment

December 19, 2022

From: Orange County Center for Contemporary Art

The exhibition brings together a diverse, multi-generational group of artists working in traditional printmaking techniques ranging from woodcuts to etchings to experimental

approaches. All pieces in the show were created by two or more artists working together.

“The main idea for the show is collaborations between

printmakers,” said curator Nguyen Ly.

During the pandemic, many presses were inaccessible, and that sense of community was

interrupted — but as society has reopened, the Collective has once again united to work on a portfolio of print projects with titles like Exquisite Corpse, Roots to Crowns and Sky.

In addition to the core Lynk Collective artists, Ly invited printmakers throughout Los Angeles, Long Beach and Orange County to participate, including Kiyomi Fukui, Francesca Lalanne, Mono Gráfico Colectivo and others.

A catalog designed by Christina Yasmin Fesmire and Diana Miller will be available.
