Cat Refugees

Saturday, Oct. 8, 12:30pm & 2pm

The Museum is proud to present two free performances of the play Cat Refugees in our Discovery Room!

Cat Refugees is part of the Worldwide Ukrainian Play Readings Project, an effort through which people around the world perform work by Ukrainian artists affected by the war. The play, by Ludk Tymoshenko and Marina Smilianets, is a sweet story about a kitten named Peachy who has been separated from their human. They find themself in a shelter with three cats who couldn't be more dissimilar. Separated from the homes they knew and loved before "the big bad thing" occurred, the cats discover in one another a caring community that gives them a new sense of what home can mean.

Presented by the Connecticut College Theater Department.
