The 2023 Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, Inc. will feature two days of music, food, street vendors, beer, and Northern Appalachian history on our downtown's main street.

Thursday, September 7, 2023
The festival kicks off on Thursday, September 7 at the Indiana Theater for the 2nd Songwriter's Round hosted by Mr. Joe Grushecky. General admission tickets are $20 each. Or get a special VIP package for $40, which includes: front row seats, a private concert with the performers at 6pm, and a meet & greet with all four musicians.

Friday, September 8, 2023
Live Music 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  at the Main Stage on Philadelphia Street between 5th & 6th Streets.
Craft and food vendors will be open starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
4:00-5:00 PM - Corrie Lynn Green
5:15-6:15 PM - Raquel & The Wildflowers
6:00-7:45 PM - The Six
8:00-9:30 PM - The River Drivers

Saturday, September 9, 2023
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m: Walk of Fame Ceremony
The annual Walk of Fame ceremony will be held in front of Spaghetti Benders on Philadelphia Street.

12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m: Children's Alley  
We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year at Children's Alley! Located at Delaney Chevrolet's parking lot on N. 6th Street.

11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m: Military Heritage Display
There will be a veterans encampment "Military Heritage through the Decades" located at Memorial Park  with displays and veterans in uniform covering the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq & Afghanistan.

12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m: Fiddle Contest  
Located on the Main Stage on Philadelphia Street.

Registration starts at 11:30 a.m. Cash Prizes will be given to the winner!

Workshops
This year’s workshop line-up will include a wide variety of educational and entertaining topics, check out the full list here.

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m: Story Telling / Liars Contest  
This will be the sixth year of NAFF Inc.’s Storytelling/Liars contest.  These types of contests are very popular throughout the United States.  Some attract large crowds and some winners have risen to achieve national rock star status within the genre.

4-5 PM: The Jaded Lips
5:15-6:30 PM: Derek Woods Band
6:45-8:15 PM: Jim Donovan & The Sun King Warriors
8:30-10 PM: July Moon
