The NC Potato Festival is a fun-filled, family festival that celebrates one of Northeast North Carolina's largest crops Potatoes.

Bring the whole family and "Come and Stay All THREE DAYS!" Northeast North Carolina's largest festival. Elizabeth City's downtown streets will be lined with food, arts and crafts, contests, live entertainment, plus a Midway full of games and amusement rides.

The Beer and Wine Garden will be open. Take a spin on a ride on our Midway, get something great to eat, and dance the night away at the 2023 North Carolina Potato Festival.

Return on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the Street Fair lining our downtown streets, the National Potato Peeling Contest, Free French Fries (while they last), Auto and Motorcycle Show, 5K Run/1M Walk, and other events planned for this years festival. Don't leave too early or you might miss the USCG Search and Rescue demonstration over the Pasquotank River Sunday afternoon.
