NOLA Crawfish Fest is three days of tastes, smells and sounds during the days between Jazzfest weekends. 7 Years running, the festival brings visitors and locals a distinct backyard boil vibe with local musical legends and HOT Boiled Crawfish by the NOLA Crawfish King, Chris "Shaggy" Davis. NOLA Crawfish Fest tops off the music and food fun with a Crawfish Eatin' Competition, a 20-team Crawfish Cook-Off judged by local celebrities and plays hosts to truly unique Louisiana Arts and Crafts vendors.

Originally created as a way for visitors to spend time between Jazzfest weekends, festival producer and local crawfish connoisseur, Chris "Shaggy" Davis says, "We have grown into a must-see, target destination, for out-of-towners and locals alike during the 'lull' between Jazzfest weekends. We take that backyard boil feel that everyone loves but bring some big-name talent and give you the smells, sounds and feels that New Orleanians enjoy about this time of the year, all in an intimate environment. It's a great time for friends and its family friendly, too"
