As her campaign stumbles into day 117, No-Answer Nella still refuses to answer some of the most pressing questions voters have been asking the self-funded candidate for months. But what little we do know about Nella’s political stances point to a close alignment with Trump’s MAGA agenda. 

After months of dodging, Nella still owes the voters of New Mexico answers on several of the most pressing questions this election: 

1. Did you vote for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020, and will you vote for him this year? 

2. If you claim to support abortion care in “rare” instances, why don’t you support federal protections for abortion access nationwide?

3. Where do you stand on nationwide access to medical abortion care like Mifepristone?

“No-Answer Nella disclosed that her assets could be worth up to an extravagant $94 million, but 117 days into her campaign, she still refuses to disclose where she stands on the biggest political issues,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Spokesperson Daniel Garcia. “Nella may think she can hide behind her last name and ability to self-fund her campaign, but what New Mexicans deserve is a Senator who will give us straight answers and understands our state.”

A nearly unlimited ability to continue self-funding does not mean that No-Answer Nella is off the hook from running a substantive campaign. Voters won’t be fooled by her family name, career on the East Coast enriching other ultra-wealthy elites, or opulent personal wealth. New Mexicans want to know where their candidates stand.
