The City of Friendswood is NOT under a Boil Water Notice. This means residents that live within the City limits of Friendswood and receive a water bill from the City of Friendswood, you are NOT under a boil water notice. If you have a Friendswood address but receive your water bill from a different provider, please check with that provider regarding your water quality status.

The Boil Water Notice for City of Houston distribution system did not have any effect on water delivered to the City of Friendswood. The power outage was at Houston’s East Water Plant. Friendswood obtains it’s water supply from the Southeast Water plant. The Boil Water notice is only in effect for systems and customers directly connected to the City of Houston East Water Plant. Again, there is no impact to the water supplied to City of Friendswood.
