September is Library Card Sign-up month and Hispanic Heritage month! We’re celebrating by welcoming the community into our branches to meet our new City Librarian and Director, Maria Bernhey, and participate in our many programs and initiatives.

Come to one or more of our Open Houses, sign up for a FREE library card, and see what we have to offer!

Library Service Updates:

The Ives Main Library will have a delayed opening of 12 pm on Friday, September 1 for staff training. We will be closed for Labor Day on Saturday, September 2 and Monday, September 4.

Milkweed Harvest and Craft Night

Help promote pollinators, food security and climate resilience! Harvest seeds from Swamp Milkweed plants growing at the Wilson Branch pollinator garden. Light snacks and pollinator-themed crafts will be available for attendees.
