Needham Free Public Library Notes - November 2023

Schools and Libraries

November 2, 2023

From: Needham Free Public Library

The Needham Free Public Library is proud to partner with the Indian Community of Needham (ICON), a local non-profit civic and cultural organization, to showcase literature from India and about Indian heritage through November. Please check out the book displays in the children’s, adolescent, and adult sections. The timing of these displays coincides with India’s festive season, and also the 7th grade study unit on India at Pollard Middle School. The ICON community will also be donating funds and a number of books this fall to enrich the Needham Free Public Library with diverse India-focused works.  We also offer programs for all ages, both virtual and in person.  You can click on any image to be sent to our Event Calendar to register for the events listed. Not everything will be listed in the newsletter, so check out https://needhamlibrary.org/  for more information about upcoming services.
