As we gear up for an exciting season at the Museum of the City of New York, I am thrilled to invite you to join us in celebrating our Centennial Year! This year marks a significant milestone for us as we reflect on our past achievements and look forward to the future. Since our founding in 1923, we have maintained a singular commitment to our mission of documenting, preserving, and sharing New York City’s history.  

In honor of this once-in-a-lifetime moment, we are launching our Centennial campaign and invite you to be a part of it. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by June 30th to support our ongoing efforts to preserve and showcase our collections, to provide five-borough-wide educational programming, and to continue to be a vital cultural resource for the next hundred years.?  

Our Centennial Year promises to be a memorable one, with a range of exciting events and exhibitions planned. From new exhibitions showcasing the city that has inspired artists and creators of all kinds to public programs for all ages, we have something for everyone. We look forward to sharing this special year with you!
