What To See

Experience the magic of our confectionary city! We invited top bakeries and amateur bakers from across the city to enter Gingerbread NYC: The Great Borough Bake-Off—our first-ever holiday celebration of the communities in each of the five boroughs. Select bakers crafted gingerbread designs inspired by their respective neighborhoods, inspired by the theme "Winter in New York." Don't miss these culinary creations, on view through January 8, 2023.

In the News:
The word is out about Gingerbread NYC! The installation was featured as one of the best public art displays in NYC in Untapped Cities and one of Time Out's best things to do this week. Read more in Artnet NewsForbes Magazine, and Thrillist. Follow the story online @MuseumOfCityNY and #GingerbreadNYC.
