Celebrate 100 years of storytelling at MCNY

"I have worked at MCNY for 35 years and am happy to be here during the Museum's Centennial. I'm most proud that my story and advocacy work as part of Union DC37 was included in the Museum's 2019 exhibition City of Workers, City of Struggle: How Labor Movements Changed New York."
- Errol R. Scott, Supervising Museum Attendant Guard

In 2023, the Museum of the City of New York will celebrate its landmark Centennial year. We were founded to be a space for New Yorkers, by New Yorkers. We have remained committed to this idea ever since, serving millions of visitors through our exhibitions and programs that tell real new york stories.

Make a gift to the Museum today and help us kick off our Centennial year. All gifts made by 12/31/22 up to $100,000 will be matched by an anonymous donor.

Thank you for being a part of our first 100 years. Join us for our next by supporting the Museum today!
