MoCA Arlington is offering two Friday morning classes that are coming up quick. Drawing: Focus on Nature and Playful Mixed Media Making (ONLINE) both begin next week! 

Drawing: Focus on Nature (Ages 18+)

Fridays, 10:00-12:00 am, February 10 - March 17

6 sessions | Instructor: Marisa Stratton

Join local artist and arts educator, Marisa Stratton to learn how to draw organic landscape and botanical plants using pastel, ink, colored pencils, and more! 

Playful Mixed Media Making (Ages 18+ ONLINE COURSE)

Fridays, 11:00-12:30 pm, February 10 - March 10

5 sessions | Instructor: Jennifer Wilkin Penick

Beloved teaching artist, Jennifer Wilkin Penick, will be leading this wonderful virtual art class, which is a perfect way to round out your week. Using a variety of mixed media techniques (collage, painting, and mark-making) you will explore color, composition and stretch your creative wings. This class is perfect for adults who would like to make art at home or live outside the Washington, DC area.
