Moraine Valley offering summer youth classes

Moraine Valley Community College is hosting a range of new summer courses for youths to learn, create and explore. Classes include academic skills, language arts, STEM and the creative arts for students in elementary, middle and high school.

Academic courses focus on an array of skill sets that will prepare students for their next grade level. Classes are led by enthusiastic teaching faculty who value hands-on instruction, educational activities and having fun while learning.

Students can discover their creativity through a variety of classes, including Recording Engineering Basics, Anime Drawing, Cartooning and Drawing, Become a Fashion Designer, World Art for Teens and more. They can work on skills through Algebra, How to Solve Word Problems and Argumentative Essays. In STEM classes, they can explore through Robotics, Stop-Motion Movie Making, Minecraft or Roblox.
