Tote-and-Go Art Kit Service
This service happens every Monday (February - November 2022) at 12 PM. Located inside the Mesquite Arts Center's front lobby area. This is a first-come, first-serve event. No registration is required but is available online.
Courtyard Concert Series
This outdoor concert series features indie bands around the Texas region. This is a free event for the family. Hosted inside the Mesquite Arts Center's courtyard. Bistro seating is available. Vendors will be onsite.
Virtual Programming
August 3: Alcohol Inks with Paige Lehmann
This August we will teach you how to create Alcohol Ink Paintings with Paige Lehmann. Learn more on the Mesquite Arts Center's YouTube Channel.
MAC Doodles
August 31| 4 PM
Please join the Mesquite Arts Council as they welcome Dallas illustrator Joe Cadena to instruct you on how to draw. On August 31, Joe will teach us about Hispanic Heritage Month. This virtual program is intended for individuals 8 years old and up. You will need the following items to participate:
-(1) Pencil, Pen, or Marker
-(1) Eraser
-(1) Sharpener
-Paper or Canvas
-Drawing Tablet - optional
Instructor Joe Cadena will create off of his drawing tablet. All images can be drawn on paper or canvas. If you have a digital tablet to draw from and want to get better at digital drawing, please refer to past episodes of "Let's Draw Digital" with Joe Cadena on our YouTube channel.
