A comprehensive one-person show in 2005 was held at the QCC Art Museum/CUNY titled Resin to Bronze Topographies. It was followed by the permanent installation of her work at Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey. Feuerman has had solo museum retrospectives at the El Paso Museum in Texas, the Huan Tai Hu Museum in China, the Amarillo Art Museum, the Tampa Museum, the Southern Allegheny Museum, QCC, CUNY Museum, and the Queens Museum of Art. In 2009, she exhibited her sculpture "Moran" at the Palazzo Strozzi Palace in Florence in a show called Art of Illusions, Masterpieces of Tromp L'oeil from Antiquity to the Present. In 2013, her sculpture, "The General's Daughter" was exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Her sculpture "Monumental Quan" was first exhibited in the Frederik Meijer Sculpture Garden in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2007, Feuerman had a solo exhibition in Venice called Bellezza E Beressaze: By the Sea, in the Venice Biennale, curated by John T. Spike. It featured her monumental sculpture "Survival of Serena". From there "Serena" went to the Beijing Biennale where it was awarded 'best in the show' and exhibited at the National Museum of China. This year, Feuerman returns to Venice for the occasion of My Stories, her solo show in the Church of the Pietà, in parallel with the Biennale di Arte, Venezia. The show continues until November 27, 2022. Her exhibition focuses on the human body through the double treatment of the immediate to eternity, to reveal the expressive path of the artist who has founded and marked the history of hyperrealist sculpture over the last 50 years.
Eric Zener
Eric Zener was born in Astoria, Oregon in 1966, but grew up in Encinitas - a small beach town just north of San Diego, California. Zener's work has been exhibited internationally in Australia, Japan and Spain and is included in numerous corporate, private, and museum collections. His work has been featured in the Robb Report, Juxtapoz, Art & Antiques, Travel & Leisure, New American Paintings, New York Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle and ArtNews Magazine.
Zener's works are currently on view in the gallery.
Zener has been painting for over 25 years. He is best known for his paintings with water as a primary element. Water has been the source of a variety of narratives: spiritual and physical renewal, taking the plunge and nostalgic memories of play and fun from childhood. Zener has always been intrigued by our relationship with nature - from its transformative qualities to produce joy to its equally transformative quality of fear and danger. He enjoys exploring this relationship with nature not only through his water paintings, but also through what he categorizes as "Journeys", "Land" and "Sleep." Zener's work has been exhibited in the United States, and internationally. Zener's work has been featured and reviewed extensively in art magazines and other publications. Apart from gallery representation his work has also been included in museum shows and international residency programs.
