Registration for the Massillon Museum’s Wednesday ceramics open studio in March is now being accepted. Contact Stephanie Toole, education and outreach manager, at 330-833-4061 x104.

 

The Frank Harrison Ceramics Studio invites adults who have previously studied ceramics at MassMu or another institution to participate in the open studio program on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. No instruction is available, but participants may use the studio for any amount of time during the open hours. The number of registrants is limited to allow maximum availability of the pottery wheels and studio equipment.

 

The monthly fee is $50 ($40 per MassMu member). New participants are welcome as space permits. The fee includes use of tools, wheels, and glazes, as well as firing. Participants should purchase a 25-pound bag from the Museum for $25. (Outside clay must be approved by the ceramics studio manager.)
